A-level Maths and Further Maths Tuition

1-to-1 Tuition with Maths6 will provide a bespoke learning experience which is perfectly aligned to the educational needs of the student. The desired outcome from these sessions could be to build confidence in A-level Maths or Further Maths, to fill knowledge gaps, to develop exam strategy or to gain fluency and depth to their understanding of the curriculum. In most cases it will be a combination of all these options. There is little doubt that a weekly 1-to-1 tutorial session will help develop confidence, nurture positive attitudes towards the subject and ultimately boost understanding and exam performance.

Small Group Tuition with Maths6 is highly effective and can have far more advantages when compared to individual study. In these sessions students will engage in discussion with others in a structured academic environment, helping to nurture self belief, develop confidence and allow for greater opportunity for feedback. Small Group Tuition takes place in groups of no more than three students whereby students work alongside others with similar ability and ambition to them. We group our students based on their year group (Y12 or Y13), their current level of attainment & their end grade aspirations. If after a few sessions you wish to move to a different tutorial group, then this is very easily accommodated.

NOTE - it is worth pointing out that the A-level Maths curriculum remains consistent between examining boards and colleges, however the A-level Further Maths curriculum contains module choices which can vary between the different examination boards and colleges. This means that it isn’t always possible to offer small group tuition for A-level Further Maths students.
