We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors, service users, individual customers and customer personnel. This policy applies where we are acting as a data controller with respect to the personal data of such persons; in other words, where we determine the purposes and means of the processing of that personal data. Your information will be shared internally with members of staff as required to provide an effective and efficient service. Maths6 legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy reflects the Personal Information we collect. For Maths6 to be able to operate as described on our website and provide our services we collect the following personal information:

  2. Email address of student
  3. Student school or college
  4. School/college year group (Y12 or Y13)
  5. Name of parent
  6. Email address of parent

The personal data we collect is stored in a database on a secure virtual private server (VPS) with measures in place to prevent access by anyone outside of Maths6. The secure VPS is located in the UK. The data is password protected and is only accessible to Maths6 employees in order to carry out legitimate company operations. Personal data will never be transferred or sold to any third parties.

Maths6 will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Maths6 will automatically delete all personal data that they hold on students once they have completed Y13 and have therefore taken the A-level Maths exam. Maths6 will delete all personal data if a student leaves school/college. The maximum time that Maths6 will hold your personal data is 3 years. We can delete all personal data we have on someone by request.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. If you wish to be informed what Personal Information we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us at info@maths6.co.uk. In certain circumstances, you have the data protection rights to access, update, rectify or to delete the information we have on you.

Maths6 follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for administering the site.

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
